A propos

Chiara D'Odorico is considered one of the most internationally acknowledged Paraguayan pianist. She has an intense musical activity performing regularly in different countries as a soloist and with orchestra. She has visited more than thirty countries such as Brazil, Colombia, the United States, Italy, France, the Vatican etc. Distinguished with different awards that enhance her artistic career as "Ambassador of Paraguay Tourism", "Artifices of Change Award: Women who Innovate and Create", “ Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Paraguay 2018", "National Youth Award" presented by the President of the Republic, "Tribute Award to the Paraguayan Woman of today".
During her European Tour 2020, she will present a Piano Recital in two parts: the first with works by the famous Polish composer Frédéric Chopin, one of the greatest references of romantic era, and in the second part it will be the presentation of her album called "PURAHÉI Che RetÃgua" ("Music of my Land").
The album was born with the aim of disseminating, valuing and publicizing academic Paraguayan Music of the xx and Xxi centuries. Many of the works are recorded for the first time since there is no history of previous records, and some were recently recovered to be included in this album. The true protagonists of this album are the composers who have unfairly been sparsely acclaimed and valued in their time, as well as the new generations that deserve greater diffusion.
