Returning to the tradition of acoustic music, the Frank De Wolf Acoustic Trio crawls blissfully close and stripped of all the technical aids in your ear: "unplugged".
This brings out the beautiful timbre of the violin, piano and double bass and continues a fine tradition that was self-evident until World War II: making beautiful music in an honest way.
The program of this trio consists of a healthy and quirky mix of swinging (gypsy) jazz, bossa nova, musette, classical themes and own compositions. The original arrangements, the fact that the music of Django is never far away, the touch of humor and the Grapelli content complete the picture.
Enjoy the fun and drive of these three experienced musicians.
Frank De Wolf: double bass
Alexandre Tripodi: violin
Nathan Kerstens: piano
