18u00 : FRACABAN - Place Verte - 4500 Huy (gratis)
Strongly influenced by traditional bluegrass and Irish folk songs, the musicians of Fracaban also play blues, jazz and French chanson, accompanying themselves on numerous acoustic instruments and distinguishing themselves with superb vocal arrangements.
20u00 : Bai Kamara jr & the Voodoo Sniffers - Espace Saint-Mengold - place verte - 4500 Huy
“The son of a diplomat, the Brussels-based Sierra Leonian Bai Kamara Jr navigates between funk, soul and R’n’B. With his sixth album, Salone, he seems to have turned a corner, revealing his blues man temperament. Whether he’s mourning the dead or indulging in worker’s blues, the feeling is deep and the swing, muscular!” Anne Berthod – Télérama
21u30 : Manou Gallo, Afro Groove Queen - Espace Saint-Mengold - place verte - 4500 Huy
“When the Ivorian bassist of Zap Mama joins forces with the funky William “Bootsie” Collins (James Brown, Funkadelic), the result is Afro Groove Queen, an album that sums up a life, drawing on funk, soul and Ivorian music, and lighting up the stage with characteristic energy.” Anne Berthod – Télérama
