Sur invitation carte blanche du Centre Pompidou, la fondation réunit artistes, poètes et musiciens pour célébrer le bicentenaire de la naissance de Baudelaire.
Un hommage décalé et résolument contemporain à l’un des grands inventeurs de la poésie moderne à suivre en présence à la fondation, retransmis en direct sur notre site et sur le site du Centre Pompidou.

Dans le cadre de cette invitation carte blanche, l’artiste argentin Gabriel Chaile et la curatrice Chus Martínez liront en direct une série de poèmes en lien avec les dessins de Chaile présentés dans l’exposition The Sowers à la Fondation Thalie.

L’évènement sera introduit par le lancement de la revue Traversée #2 aux Éditions Ishtar.
En partenariat avec le Centre Pompidou et Brussels Drawing Week.

Following the carte blanche invitation of the Centre Pompidou, the foundation is bringing together artists, poets and musicians to celebrate the bicentenary of Baudelaire's birth.
An offbeat and resolutely contemporary tribute to one of the great inventors of modern poetry to be followed at the foundation, broadcast live on our website and on the Centre Pompidou website.

Programming and moderation: Barbara Polla and Nathalie Guiot
Guest readers : Aurore Abdoul-Maninroudine, Florence Baudoux, Astrid Chaffringeon, Haleh Chinikar & Sandra de Vivies, Rosanna Gangemi, Aurélie Gravas, Christine Guinard, Nathalie Guiot, Mélanie Huchet, Margot Jourquin, Rachel Labastie, Vincent Scarito, Joseph Schiano di Lombo (Thalie residency 2021), Barbara Polla, Joana Preiss, Nathalie Vanderlinden

As part of this carte blanche invitation, the Argentinean artist Gabriel Chaile and the curator Chus Martínez will be live reading a selection of poems by Chaile, related to his drawings presented in the exhibition 'The Sowers' at Fondation Thalie.

The event will be introduced by the launching of the journal Traversée #2 published by Éditions Ishtar.
In partnership with the Centre Pompidou and Brussels Drawing Week.
