Over Promontoires du silence - Didier Goupy
In a close relationship to painting, very sensitive to the works of Mark Rothko and Pierr Bonnard, Didier Goupy strives to understand the relationship between the figure and abstraction through color in order to create a space of mystery and meditation. The forest is the founding place of his research and the first chapter of Mythologies, entitled Foundations.
"In the forest, Didier Goupy composes with the spelling of trees, the colored shadows of deep greens and pinks, brings up from the wet earth browns and ochres, the pointillist reflections of the leaves with golden reflections sparkle. in addition the image tends towards abstraction, erasing the border between photography and painting, thus opening fields of freedom to interpretation "extract from the text of Marie France Le Saux, art historian
