THE COSMIC DEAD (psychedelic rock/krautrock - UK) - Heavy Psych Sounds - First time in Belgium since 2019!

The Cosmic Dead are an amorphous blob of space rock energy hailing from Glasgow, Scotland. Their exploratory compositions often reach levels of sonic destruction through reflective repetition and visceral harmony.

The band has taken many forms since forming in 2010 and has been declared "the loudest psychedelic rock band on the planet" by legendary compere Kozmik Ken. At the base of the current sonic obliteration team is a rhythm section of Tommy Duffin and Omar Aborida, a thunderous and cohesive unit which is then further propelled into the outer realms by Luigi Pasquini providing frantic italo synthesized electronics along with Calum Calderwood's mind bending, sky-shattering fiddle acrobatics.

Their long awaited ninth full length, Infinite Peaks, was released in April 2024.

SUNSET IMAGES (post-rock/shoegaze/psychedelic - MX) - First show in Brussels!

Multi-instrumentalist Samuel Osorio's fervent guitar and bass performance and tortured vocals have established a core around which chaos is order and volume is paramount, and the final results stand in sharp contrast to the laid back expectations conjured by the band's moniker. The foundational influences here are krautrock, punk and shoegaze but Sunset Images takes the ideas embodied by those genres and drives them through a wall into a realm that entertains only their noisiest inclinations.
