When you type Defi J on Google, between several references, mixes and photos from legendary albums, you also find an article from "Le Soir" from 1997 whose first lines are :

"Défi-J, aka Sally, is already a veteran of the Brussels rap scene since a dozen years ago he was part of the BRC (Brussels Rap Convention) adventure, the group that can claim to have published the first Belgian rap album. »

We also owe him the first Belgian rap album released on a major label.
In other words, we can't talk about him without mentioning a piece of history.

But Defi J is also a generosity that has found hip-hop as an escapism, a lover of music and funk. If Brussels is a village, an old lady or a zinneke, it is also a bubbling, a crossing, a strength and a hope, and DefiJ is all that.
